I'm sure this has been asked many, many times......but trying to search for something about "pedals" on a Pedal Steel forum is tough!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

So......where can you get those holders that attach effects pedals to the steel legs?? I assume it's a clamp and velcro......or?

Thanks for any guidance!

Hi, I just use a delay pedal and a tuner so I bought this shelf off Ebay. It's actually a microphone stand shelf. Works great...

I drilled holes in the pedal and used two small bolts to attach the holder to the pedal.

I have used both the small and large trays (and may be selling them; OP has first dibs). They work very nicely (with Velcro) for a tuner, small pedal(s), etc.
Steel Guitars of Nashville shows they carry these as well.

Jim, I think what you need is the leg clamp by Show-Pro which Bob carries here on the Forum. It's in the accessories section of the Forum. I used one of these to fasten a HOF reverb pedal to my steel. I drilled a couple of holes in the cover of the pedal, and tapped the two holes. It works great. I see Joe Carlson has the correct link, above.

I keep one of those 3.00 Lowes plastic 5 gal. buckets in my vehicle. It is an excellent light weight amp stand, handy to turn upside down and put junk or effects pedal beside you or simply to haul various small items in and out of the venue.

Be careful of what clamp you use on Chrome plated aluminum legs. Some of those clamps are rough on the aluminum legs. I have a GFI ULTRA that one of the back legs looks like a dog chewed it, Where the previous owner had attached and removed a tuner from the leg many times. It is so bad I am considering replacing the leg.

These work pretty well and don't seem to damage the legs: https://www.amazon.com/FOTYRIG-Camera-Thread-Photography-Monopod/dp/B07D71FJV5/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=photo+clamp&qid=1578444355&sr=8-17
