(reposting, buyer was supposed to come and get guitar from out of state but has since ghosted)
I've sadly decided to get out of PSG world. Still trying to play the dang armpit guitar and don't have enough time to practice it.
I have a very nice MSA extended E9 I bought here. The copedent was a little weird when I bought it, and the pedals being all the way to the left were really tweaking my knee and it was not adjusted well. So I moved all the pedals over one slot and it's a huge improvement. It was a lot of work but in my opinion it plays very nicely and everything feels quite good. I should note that I'm not a professional repairman by any means but got good advice on the forum here and I'm confident it is all working well.
The copedent is pictured. Important note is that the yellow highlighted areas are currently not rodded. I believe the current copedent has everything expected on a normal E9 10 string plus some of the 12 string changes and the 4th pedal. The vertical knee lever is there but not rodded. I had intended to rod the guitar based on what's shown but never got to it. I don't think much of it will hold you back any and the rods are easily available. I'm just trying to be as honest as possible about the guitar. There are no extra parts.
The guitar has a fair amount of dings on the players side and some pick wear on the pickup but mechanically it seems very solid. The pedals are pretty smooth and double stops feel nice.
It appears the case might have been dropped once because the inner baffle has seperated slightly from the wall of the case but there's no damage noted to the guitar.
Included is a leg bag, Scotty's book, the Winnie Winston Book and a bar.
I'm in Baltimore. I'd love to find a local(ish) buyer and could meet as far as DC or WV but I'm open to shipping.

I will throw in the Peavey Special amp for an additional $125 if you pick up the guitar.

I had marked the previous ad sold because someone was supposed to come up from South Carolina to pick it up but they never showed up. The ad was closed. Hence the new post.
Still a great guitar. |

Paul,
I thought I had a bite on a guitar I'm trying to sell. Did this guy from SC say he was "touring"? He agreed to buy mine and asked for an "invoice", which I emailed. After that, I never heard from him again. Wonder what he's up to? |

This very nice guitar is still for sale. I might have to just restart playing PSG if it doesn't sell! |

I'm pondering keeping this guitar in the closet for a year or so till I have a chance to give it some attention. That said if someone shows up to Baltimore with $1300 I'll probably sell it. So it remains for sale but I won't be actively updating the ad and I don't want to ship it. |

I'll make a box with cardboard and packing foam and get it off to you. I may have to move shortly and it would be one less thing to deal with.
If you want to pick it up in person (in some mutually safe way) I will throw in the Peavey Amp I have to go with it. |

You really need to share the name of the man in SC that turns down the sales. So we can be aware.
Thanks |

I honestly can't remember his name, it was a while ago. I have gone back and forth with selling or keeping this for quite a while. Obviously it's a probably a hard time to sell. I have some other things I'd like to have and will not be playing this anytime soon.
I was nervous about shipping it but I will build a nice box with padded styrofoam corners for it. |

Excellent choice as a first pedal steel. Great price. The wood body MSAs sound good and are very reliable. _________________ KEVIN MAUL: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Donner, Evans, Excel, Fender, Fluger, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |

It's still for sale and it weighs roughly half a shitload.
JK I don't have a means to weigh it. Its fairly heavy but moveable in the case. 1/2 more than a Fender Princeton? |

I can't understand why someone hasn't jumped on this Guitar, My MSA D10 classic plays smoother than my.Emmons SD10 or my LDG SD10. Might be a bit heavier. That is a great deal for a pro. guitar.

I added some more pictures and a (very) short clip of me playing the guitar last year. I never got very far with it but at least you can hear that the pickup sounds very nice.
Anyone that's interested, please review the copedent. I'm not an expert. I think that all the basic E9 stuff is there. The circled areas are things I was going to add. As far as I know there is enough stuff to keep you busy for a long, long time, but I was planning on ordering parts to fill in the circled areas.
The heavy lifting of moving the pedals over though is done. I can tell you it probably a took few full days to take care of that and it all works really nicely now (at least for me). And it's so much more comfortable to play without having to jam your Left leg all the way into the corner.
Lots of nibbles no bites.
Recent shipping quotes were $92 to Indiana and $135 to California via UPS. |

Still for sale.
I think I scared off some newer players by mentioning the changes I wanted to add...as far as I remember there's a pretty complete E9 setup already there plus some extra stuff.
If someone who knows such things and wants to review the copedent and give your opinion on it, that's cool by me (feel free to post it here) There's are a few things I wanted to add (those are circled on the copedent) but seems like you'd have a bunch of years of practice before you'd need to make any changes. I'm not an expert by any means though. |
