1974 Emmons D10 P/P lacquer body Ser# 1943D. Very good unrestored condition, needing a going over to put it in top playing shape. Has correct numbered pedal rods, pickups and switches work as expected, tone pot is a little scratchy.

According to a steel playing friend and forum member for 12 years, here's the technical description:
"Standard Emmons set-up pedals 1-3 and left knee levers, although positioning of LR is set for a person with long legs. Note that the left lower corner on pedals 2 & 3 have been ground off a tad.
P4 not doing anything, pull rod not fastened underneath and cross bar does not seem to be closing properly
P5 OK
P6 OK
P7 not connected underneath
P8 lowers 9&10, not raising

RL - not connected to E9 neck, pulls 2nd on C6 up
RR - lowers 2nd on E9 1/2 & whole step, a little mushy, also lowers 3rd on C6"

The spare parts shown in the last picture came with the guitar but I can't guarantee that everything necessary is present.
Will ship at buyer's expense, but local pick-up or delivery by me within reasonable distance from Buffalo is preferred and free.

$1950 OBO PM or I can be reached at 716-704-5621

Since I am obviously a newbie here and not a steel player, let me introduce myself. I have been playing and then dealing in fretted stringed instruments for well over 50 years, and co-owned a guitar shop in the late 80-90's.

This and a few other items I have listed on the For Sale section here found me, through a confluence of 3 unrelated events. I was not seeking them out. They were used professionally for many years and are in great shape, and although the estate had a good idea on value, I was able to cut what we agreed was fair deal.

As I said in my reply to another curious forumite, Yes, I have joined this forum to hopefully pass them on to a player who will appreciate them. This was on the recommendation of the above mentioned forum member, and I assumed that this would be a welcoming audience.

As far as my personal credentials and trustworthiness goes, you can look me up on LinkedIn, Facebook, or my history on ebay keanureverb and donvintage. You can also contact me directly if you have any questions.
Thanks & have a great day!
Don
