On a KL that works both necks, it is possible to put the F#s to G#, D# to E change on the E9, without having so much travel on the C6 A to Bb change?

If you put a gear down bellcrank on the F# change you can shorten the travel considerably. However like any change on a push pull if there is a lot of changes on the guitar already it could take a lot of planning and effort to get it in place.
