An old bar stool that my dad gave me. The stool is comfy and reliable.

Dixon drum throne with a back rest. Nice to be able to stretch backward from time to time. _________________ David K |

This looks great for taking to gigs. Especially having to carry a triple neck and a twin reverb this may be the more logical option. _________________

I stand for playing my multineck at gigs. Makes it easier to switch instruments and I think it works better visually. Obviously, if I played pedal steel it would be a different story. |

Behold and drool It was my Christmas gift a couple years ago. Dan and family are super nice people, and I think he picked out the brown fabric and nice "tooled leather" veneer for me.

Like Bill Sinclair, I often stand up behind my double Deluxe34 stand, in which I alternate three or four different lap steels. In that case, I use the volume pedal mainly to cut the signal when exchanging instruments in the stand.
I usually sit down behind the Deluxe34 however, because for me it's much more comfortable to utilize the volume pedal in a sitting position. In that case, I'm not terribly fussy what I park my old rusty dusty on top of. I usually carry a 1940s vintage Samsonite folding chair that I inherited from my grandparents. But anything from a kitchen chair to an ottoman to a Barcalounger will do the trick for me. |

I don't think I'm a stander. The Buddy Merrill videos already talked me out of that. I think Leon was a stander. _________________

Whatever the patrons are sitting on... not a stool. Grab two, have an amp stand as well. _________________ Too much junk to list... always getting more. |

Just a regular kitchen chair suits me at home . I used whatever was available at the beverage room when I gigged. |
