Yo bOb,
I ordered 2 sets of the NYXL C6 from you. The new Sierra really sings with these strings.Γ°ΕΈβΒ _________________ I survived the sixties! |

Question, b0b --
Do you know if the NYXL High Carbon plain strings are different from the 'regular' High Carbons?
I need some .012's and can choose a 5-pack of the regulars but would go for the NYXL's otherwise.
I accept that you are not a metallurgist. Just wondering if the D'Addario literature answers this. |

I don't know the answer, Jon. Their web site doesn't even mention NYXL plain singles. As a personal preference, I'd go with the high carbon 5-packs as they are individually sealed (and cost less). The NYXL singles are not in air-tight packaging. I honestly can't hear or feel any difference. _________________ -πππ- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Great timing b0b!!!! I change mine at the end of the year. They got a beating this year. Lots of hot and humid shows. I used the D'Addario. First time for them. Great string tone. |
