Terrible situation. Friend's wife lost husband recently. She's battling cancer. Without going into details I'm trying help her sell for fair prices. TBH, I don't really know what they are.
2 year old Williams "Dark Star" D-12. Showroom condition. I believe he paid $6k.
1974 Martin D 35 w/ohsc. Original owner. Sounds amazing. Quick neck adjustment and new pickguard and it's as new.
Peavey Nash 400. Looks to be under 10 years old.
Anyway, I'm looking for nothing other than to help her out. She needs to sell imed. I'm trying to help her get fair value. Let me know aprox value or if anyone is interested and I'll fwd info. Thanks much. The Williams is about as nice of a pro modern steel you'd want. Wish I had a ton of $ so I could help her out personally.
Oh yea, a banjo too.....for comic relief.

Getting a bunch of PM's asking what I'm looking to get. Respectfully, I think that's missing the point of my post. I'm a musician, not a dealer, so I have no idea of the market and figured this forum would be best source for fair price and/or interest. I will fwd all messages to her though but still, best if you can give an honest offer. Sorry and thanks for understanding. I would LOVE to buy the Lloyd but I don't have the $ that I feel is a respectful offer.

That's actually a 73 LDG. The only year they made the true LDG. (Round front Single single changer with two hole pullers which is what Lloyd has ).the most desirable of all LDGs. I'm interested. Pm me a price. _________________ Emmons Wraparounds and cut tails, Zum D10, Blantons , Fulawkas , Franklin D10, Sho Bud Permanents and Fingertips,Jacksons and Telecasters |

Marc..A photo of the Nashville 400 would be helpful. Peavey ceased production on this model several years ago so it may be as much as 25 years old or more. |

I have 2 I got new from Mike Brown in 1997. This amp is a newer model. I had to jiggle the reverb wire but then worked no prob after that. I'll have them send me some pics of it. thanks |

Have him take a picture of the serial number plate on the back of the amp. That should say when the amp was built. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Actually serial number 5239 was born March 1974....but the first year of the LDG to be round front; barrel tuning was indeed only 1 year and that was from May 1973 to May 1974; so Mike B is right; it is a first year LDG...but not particularly 1973.

It's like emmons with a 29xx serial number it could be a 67 as 1024 D started in early 67 but we call the non D serial numbers 66. I almost didn't look at the listing where if it said 73 I'd be all over it. Regardless cool guitar. Ricky is the man when it comes to the knowledge on these guitars. He's the Sho Bud man . _________________ Emmons Wraparounds and cut tails, Zum D10, Blantons , Fulawkas , Franklin D10, Sho Bud Permanents and Fingertips,Jacksons and Telecasters |

Thank you Marc maybe this will get the ball rolling it’s hard to put a price on a Rare vintage LDG really it’s in the category of a priceless Telecaster it’s about time for rare pedal steels to share the spotlight with the Martin, Tele, Strat, Gibson vintage, Instruments. This is a rare opportunity to on a collectors steel . |
