Does anyone out there happen to know what was the name of the song that Tom recorded with Ernest Tubb. ?? I'm trying to find it and I know Tom played it for me one time and he wasn't too happy with what it sounded like. Ernest says "oh play it Tom". Hope you guys know which one it was!!!!! Thanks so much....

Rolene,

If you don't spot your original post asking about which ET album Tom appeared on, just click on this URL:

Compare the opening and middle steel breaks of 'Letters Have No Arms' with the below link.......Buck Owens, 'Walk the Floor and Worry Over You.'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QClDupuABA

They are so much alike except for the endings. I believe it is Ralph Mooney on Buck's recording. I am sure that over the years Tom played it many times for Buck. Might he have varied it a little bit for ET?
