Anyone out there using the Boss TU-3 tuner for steel? Can it be adjusted with the Newman presets or settings. Any and all advice welcome.
These Boss pedals are built like tanks...
Thaks,

I tried the TU-3 when it was first introduced. If my memory serves me correctly, can be adjusted but presets cannot be stored, defaults when pedal is turned off. For a few dollars more, the new Peterson stomp tuner is the way to go. |

I've tried it in friends setups and it works well for tuning to equal temperament but I don't see any way in the manual to save presets for E9 open string and pedals like the Peterson stomp HD does. I think same is true for the TC electronics polytune, tho that can do 6 strinbgs at once (and the Peterson also has capabilities that aren't in the current copy of the manual)
