Hi All

My request for you to recommend some CDs to listen to has given me a long list to choose from, however,I have searched Google for the titles but can't find anywhere to get them.

Trouble is,I live in the UK,and music stores here don't know any of the titles.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks

Alan

sorry if this is obvious but there is a link on the top of the page for "CDs and Tapes"- b0b carries a lot of good stuff and profits go to keeping the Forum going.

Also, many artists have their own websites through which they sell their recordings as well as instructional material (i.e. Buddy Emmons, John Hughey, Doug Jernigan, Herbie Wallace, Joe Wright, Paul Franklin, Herb Steiner to name a few). A Google search will turn them up.

I thought you already knew about the "CDs & TAPES" link at the top of this page - it's the single best source you can hope for, a tremendous collection of the best stuff all in one place. b0b is a nice enough fellow too, you could even ask him for "the top 5 starters" or something.

Alan,
You have free steel guitar music on the internet 24 hrs a day. You are making a BIG mistake not listening to it. wwwscottysmusic.com ,and another one, wwwsteelguitar.net.
