The Hukilau Hotshots played a gig a few days ago in Los Angeles. The amazing Russ Blake let his seat to the great Mikyia Matsuda from the Alcatraz Islanders for the occasion. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did :

That was a pretty special night. I couldn't believe how good the steel sounded through that EH-185 amp. Just filled the room so well.

What a cool combo and setting! Thank you for sharing this! Mikiya is indeed a great player and an inspiration to me. (Love the vibes, too!)

Think I count 8 tuners. Must be the Clinesmith! Smile

Don't know the first "mystery song" but this one:
2h26’47’’ ?

That is "Twilight in Hawaii".

Thank you Nic, I have edited the list with all the titles.
And yes Mikyia is playing his Clinesmith Frypan.

Cody, how lucky you are Smile I visited Los Angeles one year ago but I did not have the chance to see a Hapa Haole music band. Seems not so common in fact, even in Los Angeles.
