Hi all:
I'm selling a U12 Fessenden I recently bought. 7x6

It's a great guitar with particularly warm tone. The reason for the sale is that I oddly just can't get the guitar to "fit" me. I'm on the short side (5'7") so perhaps this is the issue.
I'd be happy to sell for $2,000 (+ride), or possibly trade for another U12 or even 3x4 S12. Not much wiggle room on the price because I'd like to get what I paid for it.

Let me know if anyone's interested and I'll be glad to send more pics.
Thanks!

Mike, that steel guitar looks like a really good one. I am 5'6" so with whatever steel I play (mostly, these days, old MSA and p/p Emmons) I have to get shorter legs and cut down the rods. The rods are something you can do yourself with a saw, but you'll need to get new legs or find someone who really knows what they're doing to make them shorter (mine are usually 2 inches shorter than the standard). So . . . if you still want to sell it, that will make someone happy (wish I had the money), but, if you want to, you can make it shorter and that guitar could become a good "fit". Best of luck!

Susan, thank you so much for the advice and also for all your awesome musical contributions to our world:)!!
I'm going to see how things go, but may very well be checking out your idea for a different set of legs. That could, indeed, be the ticket. Very Happy
