It's the sad, chaotic aftermath of a misguided D10 to SD10 conversion.
Somewhere out there, there is a lonely Emmons SD10 with only a "D" in it's serial number, longing for the company of it's old C neck twin brother. Meanwhile that wayward C neck is in a downward spiral, hanging out in seedy dive bars, screwed to a piece of driftwood and playing 'Got My Mojo Working' over and over again through a Fuzz Face and an off-brand solid state practice amp with no grill cloth, thinking he's worth $1899 when he's actually worth $250. Really sad. Should we stage an intervention?

Saw it this last weekend at a dealer’s booth at the Fort Worth guitar show. |

Or...a flood-damaged S10 that was discovered by a player who sold everything else there was. He made hundreds of dollars on parts, and still has a decent "biscuit board" with tons of "mojo". |

Leave it to Donny to put happy spin on a seemingly sad story. So the old Emmons actually does have its mojo workin'? That was more uplifting than a Hallmark after school special. |
