I've searched some SGF links but, so far, I can't find anyone who stocks them.
Can anybody help, please? _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

After my grandson broke my National thumb pick, I went with the Golden Gate and really like 'em.

Amazon has these for the cheapest prices I have seen in years. I buy them a dozen at a time for less than 10 bucks. You have to keep watching...some dealers sell a 4 pack for the same price.... _________________ Tab Tabscott

Theodore - thank you.
I followed the link that Jon kindly provided and ordered half-a-dozen from Elderly. It was all very painless and, with a PayPal link provided, I'm now assuming these are on their way to me.
I looked at the Forum 'Vendors' links but 'twas in vain. The only dealer to even mention the brand name was Jim Palenscar's store but there were no specifics available.
My choice, too, is the large ivoroid one. Back in 2001 I was playing a show in Norfolk, VA and I visited the steel store in Orange. That's where I first saw this particular pick and I bought a box of twenty! In the intervening years I have had only one of them fail on me (breaking at the 'bend') but now the unimaginable has happened - I've lost the box in which I kept the remainder!
Doubtless the missing picks will reveal their location the moment the new ones show up. In the UK we call that 'Sod's Law'.
Thanks for all the responses! _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

I used to use Golden Gate. Being they are sometimes hard to find locally I started using Dunlop's. Don't notice any difference. |
