A dear friend has an Emmons Push & Pull she wants to sell. It was her husband's who died about a year ago. The serial number is 3447413 and it has 3 pedals and 3 levers. Does anybody know what it would be worth and how old it would be? We found the real serial number is 1455-S.
Thanks,James[This message was edited by JAMES BANKS on 16 February 2006 at 08:34 AM.] |

If it's in nice original shape, good working order, with a good case, I'd guess it's worth $1200 to $1300. That's assuming that it is a 70's Emmons push pull. Most buyers would have to add at least one lever, maybe two.
Other details about the guitar could bring that price up or down, but$1200 to $1300 seems about right to me...Jerry |

Thanks Jerry. It is in pretty good shape. The case looks pretty good as well. The owner is deciding what she wants to ask. I told her I could take it to Dallas next month.

I am a new member & just orderd a new LeGrande III so I am without a guitar for the next 7 months or so and am interested in something to play in the meantime. Is she going to sell the guitar? If so, please give her my email address. Thanks, Troy |

Jim,
The Emmons should be from 1975-76. Check the pot and compare manf.date . Also, your email
keeps getting bounced back.
Best regards,
Silvio |

Hey speaking of...
I have a D-12 push-pull and I wish I knew how old it was, but Ron Lashley From Emmons told me that records for the 12-string era aren't avalible.
Anyone have any ideas? The serial number is 145D12BGE |
