Hears the little Emmons before remodel.
I guess I’m like some Harley Motorcycle guys give me a little shine an some accessories.
Unscrew two wing nuts an remove pad for s10 players.
I got this GS finished on top know it’s time too add some knee levers

Buffed end plates an key head
Built new aluminum pedal board
Made aluminum corners to simulate real end plates
Screwed in new set of adjustable legs
Removed fret board an pickup.
Installed new Formica in font an aluminum trim strips
Built new aluminum pickup plate
Built new1/2 inch neck to get fret board off body

| Contact Jerry Roller, he is one of the go to men also for Emmons guitars. He would surely have some ideas. I have a Black Rock, the difference is the aluminum strips on the front and a "want to be neck". It is a true "bolt on" and definitely has the sound/tone. The pedal rail on yours is definitely a plus. Add some knee levers and you've definitely got a keeper! |

| Just my opinion, leave it be a lightweight student model. Maybe add a couple of knee levers if you want. The charm is the simplicity and the weight. Personally, I wish I still had the first steel guitar I had, the very same one you're modifying right now. It would be an excellent grab and go guitar. Don't mess with a good thing. |

| I think when you start doing all that hacking it drops the value. Right now to me push pull or not it's worth about 250.00. There are changes that can't be reversed without holes showing. I don't understand you people that think hacking a classic guitar is a good thing. We only have so many classic Sho-Bud and Emmons guitars around and we have people chopping and cutting drilling holes and turning D-10 classics into SD-10's and calling them something they aren't. |

Jeremy thanks for asking I going too try making a neck An at least mill a hole in the neck blank too surround The pickup. The neck can be 7/16 thick.
Jerry I like the scallop idea I’ll give that a shot.

Here’s another way too attach aluminum trim strips make a rabbit in aluminum too hold screws countersink screws in aluminum fur out the middle to match the difference in middle space glue this piece too guitar body then with contact glue, glue in your front.

Steven your right i took the pig statement off.
I think maybe these Emmons GS models might have better tone than a wrap around or bolt on push pull. |
