Bought this from the forum over the summer and while it is a beautiful instrument.. I have not been giving it the playing time it deserves so I must let it go..

22.5” scale length (same as a Fender Deluxe)

Hollow all cast aluminum, polished top and sides w/ traditional black top, felted back, with finely polished Bigsby steel-style graphics and frets.

8 String w/ Grover Sta-tite tuning machines

String spacing at the bridge 2.75

String spacing at the nut 2.375

Custom fit Blue Heron case

$1,700 (OBO) + shipping (Cash, PP F&F or a Personal check from any active long-time forum member). I pack professionally, and thoroughly.

Clinesmith horseshoe pick ups are the bomb. 💣 nice short scale you have there!

I can vouch. Tim bought this from me. I received it in March of 2019, and I paid $1,800.

As you all know, it's worth what the market will pay for a used instrument (I won't speculate here on the current value). As used steels go, this is a killer--also has a wide "boo-wha" tone control Todd installed for me).

Thanks for chiming in Mark!!...

Basically I bought this from Mark, played it a few times and put it back in the case. The guitar is in incredible condition. Never gigged!

I have a long scale version of this guitar--it really is great. Todd's horseshoe pickups are fantastic, and the cast aluminum body sustains for days with a tone that can't be beat! I like mine a lot better than I did my original 30's Rick fry pan. That's saying a lot.

I have now got both the long and the short scale as well as a T-8 console. They are the best sounding and sustaining lap steels made today as far as I'm concerned...
Nothing else I'd recommend. Very Happy

This is a KILLER guitar. I forgot to mention I played it for a few weeks--so it's broken in and has a unique tone. Remember: every one of these sounds a bit different. This one has some special Mojo..
