Doesn't look like he's plugged in, but wait for the top down camera angle.

Never seen a lucite Fender 800 before. That looks special.
Anyone have info on that guitar?

Annoyingly faked, but fascinating none the less. What a production, and a great sound track! I also wonder about the guitar. No visible frets, no pedals. Did it even work?

I wonder...
It's hard to tell if there are any wires coming from the pots in the video.
There are certainly no pedal attachments on the undercarriage.

I went to the next video in autoplay which is an interesting discussion of Alvino's use of the Sonovox. Apparently, his wife did the voice in conjunction with the guitar line. This young guy seems to know his subject.

Alvino Rey typically played E6th. I doubt that the Fender shown is what you actually hear. His tuning at the time was probably an earlier, 8-string version of this: https://b0b.com/tunings/rey.htm.

I was thinking about the strumming pattern he was using. It did not look like he was actually picking. Very unique.
