Original one owner 1988 Blue Emmons Lashley Legande D-10 8/5, un-played condition. (I was told) it was purchased at factory. Plus high dollar Wheeled case.

Guitar was purchased 9/10/19, In Washington state, and has been moved to one of (two that I know of) Emmons service centers on west coast. It is in line to be set up, in mid October (there really busy) or can be shipped with current copedent, NOW. Guitar needs nothing but your set-up, or not.

$3350.00+ shipping/insurance lower 48 only. See pictures on Forum, For Sale Steel Guitars, Page 2, 22 topics down. Or search from 9/10/19 Duane Becker-author-Emmons Lashley Legrande D-10 8/5.

Some one just e-mailed me from my Forum E-mail.
What is the current Copedent? It is listed 7 pictures down from Top of Duane Becker For Sale Ad.
No Trades. My Computer would not allow me to answer Forum e-mail.

Thank you,

Interested. Is this no longer Duane’s guitar? I intended to buy it from him but it appeared it had already sold. What is up with that? Did you just buy it to flip it? I don’t care much for that sort of thing, Duane is my friend and I could go pick it up, now you take $350 for getting in the middle. FUBAR. Anyway now it is a two-owner guitar.

How about I go pick it up myself for the original $3000? I would do that.

Hi Dave:

Guitar is not in Washington state. It has been moved by me. I bought another Emmons I wanted, that wasn't even for sale. Never thought I would sell 531L. And don't have to. Yes I am 2nd owner, but have not seen it in person, or touched it.

And just so we are all 100% correct, Duane Becker did not own 531L guitar, he was agent for seller. Duane is a great, great, guy, and monster player (from what I've been told.)

I'm Sorry you don't like my Ad or price, but after speaking with others who have sold many more guitars than me, 531L is worth more, especially in condition it's in, and with high dollar case. And it's been moved to Emmons service center, in line for set-up or, shipped/picked up now.

No thank you for your offer. But thank you for it.
Will entertain offers.

I have no issue with your ad or your price, Les. My issue is with people getting in the middle and creaming cash off the top. There is one well known seller here from whom I will never buy because I find his enthusiastic resale modus operandi repulsive.

Yes Duane is a monster player and a superb human being. I saw his post less than an hour after he put it up and you had already closed the deal. But you don't want the guitar at all, why muck it up for someone who does?

Better next time maybe

Dave:

I am not the seller you so loath. Never gotten in the middle and creamed off top (as you put it.) Just position I'm in.

Your comment I don't want guitar, is bunk. I will keep guitar and play it, if doesn't sell, buy time Lynn Stafford has time to put my set up on it.

Not mucking it up for you, or anyone else. Guitar went from Washington state to Oregon at SGW in line for set up. It didn't walk there.

Entertaining offers,

With Lee's permission, I'm just letting folks know that I have this guitar here in my shop. I happened to be in Spokane, WA last week, so in order to save Lee the cost of shipping, I picked this guitar up from Duane and brought it home with me in my motorhome. It's currently in line for the E9 copedent to be reconfigured for Lee, unless he sells it to someone. Here is a photo of the existing setup.

I just did a setup and lube for Lee Lessig, the previous owner a few months ago. I can vouch for Duane's remarks about this guitar being in excellent condition.

Not selling until 19 makes you wonder where it was for 20 years ? Might have some magic left in it. Nice guitar.

Bill:

God lead me to this guitar, so I know it has lots of magic left in it.

Just hope I haven't made a big mistake by selling it. I told several friends on Forum, not 10 minutes before this SOLD.

I'm about 2-seconds from closing this sale, and keeping it. But the guitar of my dreams, came out of nowhere. Right after I bought this Blue D-10.

God is Great!
Thank you Bill
