Not sure if this is from the guy who played with APE later on, but apparently their one album came out in 2001. I like the vibe a lot, very simple and stripped down. Found them on Youtube. Anyone know anything about them?

This was a duo act consisting of Frank Novicki and Ben Bonham. Ben has become a very good resophonic luthier.
Frank, however, seems to have disappeared. I found a Caring Bridge journal from 2016 that indicates that he had some medical issues and was hospitalized. No news since then and his Facebook page remains inactive. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Ben lives in Hood River, Oregon and as Brad mentions, makes excellent resonator guitars. He just completed a west coast tour as part of Albanie Falletta’s band. She plays one of his resonator guitars ( it was recently featured in Acoustic Guitar magazine.)
On the tour, Ben played a ukulele, resonator guitar and lap steel resonator guitar... all from his workshop. I suspect he has copies of Steel Works available as well as a recent CD of excellent music with Albanie Falletta ( resonator guitar and ukulele), Cindy McDermott ( mandolin) and Ronnie Ontiveros ( upright bass.) His two recordings with Jamie Stillway are also outstanding.
