I have been reading the forum and thought it's time to join. Have not played in 20 years but am getting on with it asap. I got ahold of Ron at Emmons and drove to Burlington to order a new LeGrande III & put a hefty down payment on it. But, as you all know, it's going to be at least one year before I receive it. So as of now I am steel-less unless I can find something reasonable to rent/buy in the interim. I'm open to suggestions & looking forward to lots of fun. |

Hello Troy, good to have you here, I suggest finding a cheap used single neck student guitar like a sho-bud maverick for around $250 to $300 dollars that is playable to use until your Emmons arrives, that way you can keep practicing your blocking skills, and scales,or a single neck guitar with two knee levers and 10 strings 3 pedals, one you could use if you did not want to take your Emmons out anywhere you can grab the Sho-bud maverick really quick, or a GFI student. |

Thanks Steve, I had a Sho-Bud Maverick at some place in time and if I am going to find one agin hope it's here on the forum. My search in other venues has proven fruitless |
