On Wednesday our local PBS station aired "American Masters" about Charlie Pride. Lloyd Green was there in vintage footage from days gone by, but he was also recently interviewed with Pride. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing some of the things this pair did in the 60's as well as their perspective on music today.
That show will probably air at various times around the nation so check for it. |

I looked this up on my Roku PBS feed last night and watched it. Great show, lots of vintage footage and commentary about the times when Charlie got started and nice footage of Lloyd, both young and present day. Thanks for the heads up. |

You can count me among his biggest fans as an artist, however, I have a whole new kind of respect for Lloyd Green, and it really does not have much to do with steel guitar. Great Doc!
