Very nice video.
Can anyone tell me the name of the song played at the beginning of this.
It sounds like "Success" by Loretta Lynn but I don't think that's the one. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

The song is Your Old Love Letters. It's Del playing on his Classic Country Plus CD.
Thank you for sharing this. |

THANKS for posting the video. I have been blessed to have owned 18 different PSGs and 8 of them have been Mullens. So here's my take on the Mullen.
QUALITY......Tested and Proven
BEAUTY....A "Stand Out" guitar
TONE....Captivating and Distinctive
CUSTOMER SERVICE....Responsive with problem resolution
DESIGN....Unique, innovative and functional
Thanks to the entire Mullen crew and wishing you the best on your future plans.... |

That would be Del playing on his Classic Country Plus CD. It was a Royal Precision. Nashville 400, and an L120 Volume Pedal. Lexicon MPX1 effects. |

On one of my annual trips between Southern Colorado and my native Minnesota, I've been pondering the idea of making a detour through Flagler to try out a 21st Century instrument. My preferred route is through Kit Carson, so it would not be too terribly far out of my way.
I've been playing clunky old push/pulls since the '70s, and have always been perfectly satisfied with them. Since they're all I really know, ignorance is bliss, I reckon. But I'm still curious... |

I have a Mullen HWP D-10 & an Emmons LeGrande II. Both beautiful sounding & totally different tone-wise. I think the Mullen has the mechanical edge over the LeGrande, however. Built like a Swiss watch. _________________ A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag. |

Clark, I second that opinion.
Got my custom SD-10 G5 5&5 in April 2017 and it's the best quality I've owned with the Promat D-10 coming in a very close second. The Mullen has the lightest touch and best positioning of the pedals and knee levers of any I've had, and I've lost count of the steels I've owned in over 40 years.
It's my second Mullen.
My thanks to the entire Mullen crew. Great people to work with.
Andy

+1 !
After years of playing, I ordered my first brand new steel from Mullen..lacquer with a wood neck, and they went WAY beyond in the customer satisfaction column! Even sent me maple samples of the colors I wanted so I could see them before they shot the cabinet!
I was playing (and still have) Sho-Buds and Emmons PPs... great guitars all, but the 'playability' of the Mullen has won me over.. love the mechanics and the tone! The crew at Mullen is top flight! |
