I can't speak to this particular guitar for I've never seen or played it. But I can attest that these Promats can hang with the very best. My opinion is based owing a Promat. It is a very smooth playing instrument which only needs slight key adjustments when tuning. Mr. Papic put a lot of pride into his work and would not let anything leave his shop that wasn't 100%. Some are turned off by the metric parts but I've never found that to be a problem. With a few exceptions, Emmons Push Pull parts will work fine should something go wrong. The changer fingers and much of the other metal parts on these guitars are non-magnetic stainless steel. I have played my Promat quite a bit and there is absolutely no bite into the changer finger tops from the string wounding. There will be no more of these made so if someone wants a very trustworthy Push Pull guitar, Promats are just that.

thanks guys, this guitar was in a pretty bad shape when I got it, so I shipped it to Henry Matthews who serviced it, and adjusted it, couple months ago Danny Muhammad went through it again, and fine tuned it ... guitar has “0” cabinet drop, none ... sounds amazing, and plays like a butter...
