A friend gifted a Little Buddy pedal steel to me a couple of days ago. I'd like to fix it up and "pay it forward" to some aspiring new player.

It's a bit incomplete and definitely needs some TLC. It's missing its original pedal rack but at least I have two good pedals. These are plastic and the third is broken. Apparently some of these guitars came with a forth pedal that was used as a volume pedal. Perhaps someone has one of those that was removed.

I'm interested in buying one original pedal to replace the broken one. I'll just fabricate a new pedal bar using one I have from an Emmons student model.

See pedal photos below.

The left end plate must have cracked (but was repaired fairly well). I'd like to replace it if possible. I'll try to find an example photo of a good one and post it later.

Please let me know if you think you might be able to help me out with at least a pedal.

Obviously I'm not interested in trying to flip this project for a profit. This guitar will be going to someone in need of a starter guitar, or possibly as a loner to an aspiring student, etc.

I have a nice aluminum polished pedal bar without pedals. The hole to hole measurement is 29 3/4 CC
It is open in back ( no pedals} I cannot send you a picture today. Maybe by telephone. If you can use it we can deal.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your kind offer but I've decided to fabricate a pedal bar using one I happen to have for an Emmons student model.

Hopefully, someone has a pedal stashed away they don't need for one of these guitars.

Marty,

Maverick pedals are different. Tim Johnson was kind enough to donate his Little Buddy pedals to me for my project!

Here are a couple of photos of a Little Buddy from the net. You can see lots more if you google it.
