I bought this about 20 years ago and I'm afraid it's time to let it go. It has a George L pickup on the E9 neck and sounds great. It's obviously seen some heavy workload in its days - as you can see by the case and it does need some TLC and a bit of work doing to it - one of the knee levers doesn't have a stop. I know you don't see these very often so hopefully it will appeal to one of you.
I'd like $1400 for it plus shipping but am open to offers.
I am in Los Angeles so local would be great but I will make sure it's packed properly if you're not local.
Thanks. Any questions please ask.

Cripes!!!!
That’s my old MCI!!! I owned it till about 96. In late 94 or so I sent it to Bud Carter and he re-mica’d it and was my first pro level guitar that I hung onto for any length of time. If I had a nickel for every tune I played on it, brings back memories for sure. I’d always wondered what happened to the old girl. Lotsa bar gigs behind that one!

Any of you'se guys believe this tale of 😲 whoa.. from wassis name? Forrest? Yeah, I think the Forum lie detector app should come into play here. b0b? Where'd you put it?
Seriously, who ever can stand exorbitant shipping costs, and then takes possession should get and keep in touch with the "former".. in case you decide to " move on". It happens.
Forrest, I truly hope this history lesson returns to your 🚪 to be reunited. Eventually |

The MCI is sold to local Bob. Apologies to everyone else. To be honest I was a little concerned about shipping given the condition of the case so felt this was the best option. The good news is Bob is a great guy and will give it a good home I'm sure.
Thanks to everyone for the interest.
