Hi folks,

about two weeks ago i bought a hard-to-find LP from Sid Hudson called "Twelve Midnight". It has a few marks an scratches. When I held the record against the light to search for scratches, I was astonished to see the name "Paul Franklin" engraved in the middle. Shocked
Is this P.F's copy? What do you think about that?
By the way it's a great album, and man....that steel is amazing, as everything from Paul...

See the pics that i made from.

Best regards......

Ed

Sid was a fine steel player in his own right. Had the pleasure of attending his steel show in Va. and hearing him play.

I would love to hear these tracks. Any digital versions available for download, or CD'S?

Usually that means that Paul mastered the record or approved the sound when it was a test pressing. His name is in what's called the "dead wax". All records have some information there usually entered at the pressing plant.
