Classic Bakelite Rick Lap Steel. Probably late '40s based on headstock plate, frets ("fade" the ends towards body, as opposed to continuous frets found on later models). This is in very good shape shape. The photos of the guitar are "backwards" which means the knobs and input jack are on the right side of the instrument.

Only known defects are a bent tuner, a missing plate screw, two fret marker dots are missing, and some scuffs around the input jack. It sounds fantastic (as every Bakelite lap steel).

Volume and Tone pots work (tone pot a little dirty when turning) but very clean and strong sound.Case is adequate (I have flown with it as carry-on) but nothing special.

If you have been looking for a bakelite Rick at a reasonable price, this is it!

Sold as is @ $800 plus $50 shipping to continental US (only). PayPal only (buyer pays 3% if not a direct transfer).
