I just tried to call Malcolm at Discount String Warehouse using 270-886-2954 and I got a message that the number has been changed, and that no new number was available. Can anyone tell me if Malcolm is okay, or what the status of the business is?

I just tried googling "Discount String Warehouse" and there was nothing returned in the search by that name.

Is that the correct name?

I know nothing about them, but google yielded their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/discountstringwarehouse/ - which gives a different phone number than the one you posted. They also post a price list.

If no response, you might want to compare with, e.g., juststrings.com for GHS - https://www.juststrings.com/ghspedalsteelguitar.html or SIT - https://www.juststrings.com/sitstringspedalsteelguitar.html - but unfortunately no GeorgeL's.
