Could some of you explain to me the advantages of a double wide body for a single 10 neck. I have an S10 Carter and sometimes feel cramped.

Cramped?.... I don't need a Double body to get rid of that.Sorry TB had to do it.Anyhow....I like the SD10's better 'cause the S10's make your shoulders hang down and get back problems.I like a pad better then a Non-pad.
I always used a SD10 if I did not use a DB.

Right now I play a S10 P/P and I have to get used to it.
I am recording now with a SD10 and it's way better then a S10.Believe me.

I would say the SingleDouble is Better for your back.

Seems like the extra size of the box would
improve on the resonance.
A Jumbo flat top sounds better than a small
one.
