Yes it does where would be 436.5 to the right of 440 or left of 440 ??

It would be to the left of 440.
There should be numbers to go by.

Paul and Erv.
I started a post earlier today regarding tuners in general.
I think I am finding major discrepancies from one to another.
I have several different tuners now, one being a Boss-12, not the 12H and lots of others.
I can tune up, and then about a week later give or take a day or two or so, I expect that some strings will go flat and need tuning up because of stretch, and slippage, etc.
However I discovered that some tuners I have when they say strings are in tune they are not. They tune almost a half note higher than what they read.
Have you guys experienced this?
Do you rest the tuner on the guitar body to tune, or nearby the strings? If not using inline that is.
I hope my note is not hijacking your thread Paul.
Your queue I wanted to know the answer to that too. |

If you place the Boss tuner in line, it will affect your tone.
Now I use the Peterson Strobo Plus HD tuner and no such problems.
