Buddy Kelly? 😉 Close as I could get was my Uncle Buddy Williams and he was a Mandolin picker...oh well. One fellow steeler once asked what cologne was his idol using...you never know what thing/idea we could try to make us a really good/great steel picker other than what’s already known; talent/wood shedding or wood shedding and talent. 😳

Hey Carl - For me, it just seems to be wood-shedding! The only place I can find talent is from my latest effects purchase... the Talent Pedal, shown here...

Thanks Stu - I will add him to the list.

Hey Ross! We need to catch up... I am just so addicted to the S-10 you built for me. A day does not go by...

Fred, No, but it might make me a distant relative Smile

I hear ya Dan...I was in a music store once when a fellow ask me if I was a “musician”? I said no but I am a Musical Equipment Owner...not sure if he got it but, oh well 🙄. Great to see you at least have a box of talent...use it wisely! (Pun intended) Ha. Carl

I knew a beginner level guy who thought he was better than he is wear a derby hat just like Buddys' and even posed and smiled like him at a gig. Didn't help at all. He played all the riffs that Buddy taught on his E9 instructional material with no variation ever.
