Hi,

Stumbled upon this today. Rickenbacker non-pedal steel guitar. Owner thinks its console 206 and I think that's what it is but LOTS of variants to a noob like me.

Any idea what it's value would be? I'm more after a single neck lap style but if I can determine what a good price is on this one...

But first I gotta know what it is!

Thanks,

Warren

There are a few guys that are experts. It's a nice sunny day, maybe they are outside? It's Sunday, maybe they are in Church.....Be patient, I'm sure you will get your answer.

Oh brother...

You took it the wrong way..

I was trying to keep the thread closer to top since my previous got 1 response...

I just said I'd look elsewhere...what's the problem?

As Charles Strange said: "one of the best ways out of "Noob" rut is to let YOUR fingers do the internet walking......" which is what I was doing..

Oh well it was great while it lasted!

Thanks!

The problem - IMO - was the comment "so far this forum has not been very helpful." Which sounds rude after such a short time period. It's poor "netiquette" and on forums I've moderated I would have sent a PM suggesting to be more patient.

And if you want to move a thread back to the top, the accepted method is simply posting

<bump>

If you have ben on forums at all for very many years I'd be surprised if you were not aware of that - so the "not helpful" gets the immediate reaction of "what's wrong with this guy"?

If you weren't aware of bump, though - now you are. But it's STILL impatient to use it after part of a day. Or one day.

Relax - if the post is on the first page someone will usually respond - unless it's REALLY obscure.

Hope that helps
