Thanks guys! My guess would’ve also been Paul but they showed him very quickly and I’m not as familiar with his “look†in the 70’s. Didn’t he and Doug Jernigan have the same barber?  |

I could tell by his right hand stance it was Franklin. Franklin made the cover of Tom Bradshaw's magazine, Forget the name of it. With a bigger afro as I remember.
For those of you into critiquing hair styles. I've seen Buddy with a perm, but never thought of it as a afro. Not to say he never had one. |

Paul. He used to play for Jerry Reed. There's is absolutely NO WAY that this was Buddy.

Glad you all found this...I remembered a few months later doing another show with the same song and found this clip.....There are really no A&B side by side comparisons with me playing guitar brands..Here is the same exact everything, TV studio, same amp same auto-wah, same song, same artist, band etc.....There is clearly a difference....This is the first Franklin guitar, the BB KIng version was my PP Emmons....
