I received word that Duncan, Oklahoma steeler Rod Isham passed away last night.

He was a dear friend and had played steel guitar since 1970.
For the past several years, he had owned a music store and was known to give away almost as much as he sold.

He was always willing to help starting musicians as well as seasoned players.

He will be missed.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your friend and fellow steel player, Jack. Sounds like he had a big heart, and contributed generously to the music community. That’s quite a legacy!
