Dottie Rambo and the Rambo family. Gospel group, gospel song: https://youtu.be/aY_iaSMrnkA
I have no idea about the player in question.
I found this live tune New Shoes also from 75 that has a steel player on a Sho-Bud, but I've no idea if he's the same one as on the other recording or who he might be.

Jerry, I wish I could claim that but it is Weldon Myrick. Weldon did most of the Rambo recordings. I only did two albums, "Live At Souls Harbor" and one studio album that they used the band on called "Softly and Tenderly. _________________ Johnny "Dumplin" Cox

Might not have been Johnny, but he could have done it...one of the first steel players I heard when I moved to town in 77...watched JC and Reinhard"lock horns"at the Den one night...I remember thinking"they got cats up here as good as Weldon and Emmons...and I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF'EM!!!"
I'd have gone back home if I'd had any money...or sense!
