Note the change of time in the schedule. We previously scheduled the show to start at 10:00 AM We are privileged in having lots of good players as part of the show and we are starting 30 minutes earlier than planned. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone. We are looking forward to seeing all of you. Jim Jefferies, the morning radio host for Big Country 99.5 will be bringing you info about the show, so stayed tuned.

Beverly, please check your PM. I am sorry to have to miss this one. I am in rehab with a torn rotator cuff. My band partners handle my equipment when I play on Friday shows and I have complete equipment set up on stage at Cowboy Church and Little O' Oprey so I don't have to transport equipment.
Thanks,
Jerry

Myself and my picking buddie Jerry Barnard attended the OSGA Show Friday and had a great time. Lots of good pickers and we really liked the new Lady Guest picker from St. Charles, Mo., Jo Ann Kreder. Very professional with great sound. Need to hear more from her. Thanks again to Beverly and her crew for putting this show together and a job well done. Sorry, Jerry and I will not be able to attend Saturday, other commitments. It was good to see old friends and make new ones. BTW, The Dancer Hall is a fine setting for the Show. My Best to All, J.R.

The attendance was wonderful. Thank you all for coming. The music was absolutely spectacular. Not only the house band, but the steel players and the bands were..., well you will just have to come hear them for yourself next year. I will be posting some pictures on the forum in the next few days, so keep an eye out for the photo capture of the show.

Mary and I send our thanks to the OkSGA for the invitation to be a part of the show. It was a great weekend of steel guitar music, aided by a tremendous staff band (except for the rhythm guitar player!!!). Great to see all our dear friends. We hope to see you all in Branson next month.

It was a great show. Thanks to the many Steelers who allowed me to play and sing with them. Thank you Beverly for inviting me to be part of the house band. I felt honored to share the stage with legendary musicians. All the steel players brought their "A" game. Rick Crow challenged me with the most complex music I've ever encountered. I made many new friends and hope to see them at the Kansas show in October.

Thanks for saying that J R, I had the most fun that I've had in a long time. The band really did a great job and made it a lot easier.

Doug, I'm sorry, but I thought you would have known "Mary Had A Little Lamb" Thanks for playing with me, I had a blast.

Gee, you must have given me the wrong binder. My copy used all 12 notes in random fashion and that was just in the first two measures. Seriously, I like to be challenged. Playing music with really good players gets my adrenalin flowing and I love it! I look forward to your next challenge.
