Wow, there’s some eye candy!! Out of all the colors of mica that Emmons used, this is my favorite outside of black and satin rosewood. For whatever reason, this shade (not sure if it’s teal or Cayman green) really accentuates all that polished aluminum.
Best of luck with the sale, that’s a fabulously beautiful guitar.

Skeeter,
This one is Cayman Green. Weldon Myrick’s was the Teal color. They were two very different colors.
I agree with you, this color was my favorite as well.
Cheers,

Cayman green....yup, you’re right about Weldon’s guitar being teal. Both colors very unique and beautiful in there own right. If I remember the story, after years of having black or dark colored guitars on the Opry, he decided to get teal teal LeGrand so it would stand out more. |

This is one of the best looking guitars I've seen in quite some time.
The green color with the sparkling steel.....& a more than fair price. _________________ Fessenden SD-10

Where in NC are you located? I am in the tri-cities area in east TN and can drive to your place. I will be playing Picking in the Park in Canton on the 28th with my 1982 D-10 Zum. You wouldn't be interested in a trade, would you? |

George, I’m near Charlotte, but I am fortunate to already have a Zum D10 that I bought from Bruce and still have the receipt.
Let me know where you’re playing in Canton. I may be able to come.
Cheers,
Mark

Mark, I am playing with Rick Morris and Sarah Bird. It is at the public park next to the high school and armory. Go through downtown, cross a bridge and next block, turn left. Go straight for about 1/2 mile. They have a really nice, large pavilion with a big dance floor. Bring lawn chairs. Play 7 til 10. If you want my cell #, send me a PM. |
