I'm an old Leon Redbone fan. Read he had died and pulled up some youtubes. Highly recommend "OLD FAMILIAR BLUES" . He's accompanied by a young Cindy Cashdollar in twin pony tails.

So sad to hear of Leon Redbone passing away. I met him a couple times. The first time I was around 20 years old and I found myself after one of his concerts at The Palladium in Dallas back in his dressing room for about a half hour with Steve Goodman (who wrote City Of New Orleans), legendary mandolinist Jethro Burns, and Leon's tuba player, Jonathan Dorn.

They were pretty cool to let a punk like me hang with them. They were all very kind, but my favorite exchange was when I mentioned that I was studying jazz guitar up the road at North Texas. Leon looked at me thru those dark glasses and in his deep slow drawl said, "Ahhhh, hmmmm, you'll have to teach me a couple chords."
