I have an '81 Super Pro with a warped C6 pickup. It still sounds great, but the way it's curved, I can't help but touch it with the back part of my palm when I play, causing it to drop out or crackle. I have to pick way up the neck to avoid it, and that's a pain in the rear.

I know next to nothing about pickups, or rewinding them, is it possible to have it rewound on a new pup, keeping it somewhat original? Otherwise, what options would you consider for replacement for a C6 neck?

I am in Milwaukee, WI. Anyone close by to take it to for such a repair/replacement?

It looks more to me like the screw for that end is no longer holding tight in the wood.

I think you may be right, it looks pretty good after adjusting that screw. It's been like that since the day I received it so I just assumed it was warped. Embarassed
