that is in pretty rough shape. Need all new tuning pegs for sure. That model was the first console model, the second valco produced eharp, and the 3rd model eharp. It is nice sounding, although I like the model that came after this one better which is my main axe. You can get these in good shape for around $350-450 if you keep an eye out. |

You have to be careful on shopgoodwill.com, the refund policy is set by the individual goodwill branch, some offer refunds if you ask, others only if there's a material defect in the item listing.
I remember reading that usually the buyer wins the argument w/the GW associate who doesn't know much about musical instruments what is a material defect but you're still out shipping. _________________ - keyless Sonny Jenkins laps stay in tune forever!; Carter PSG

Bump to mention another Valco orange rectangle Alkire w/HSC, auction on now at ebay, currently under $200 also. Seller disclaimers: no refunds, not tested etc

And Guitar center listed one, no pix, 50's Epiphone, at $900(!) _________________ - keyless Sonny Jenkins laps stay in tune forever!; Carter PSG

That is a weird hybrid. Looks like it may have been put together with left over parts since the hand rest is not standard nor is the finish and there doesn't seem to be any legs. I've seen on other like this. |
