I need to know the scale length on the Fender 400 An 2000.

The early 1000 and 400 scale was 24 1/2", these are the ones with the more square bridge plate and cover and the large rectangular pickup. They were re-designed around late '63 and changed to a 23" scale. Those have the rounded bridge cover and narrow angled pickup. The 800 and 2000 were introduced at the same time, they are all 23".
