Hello All,
Been lurking a while and just wanted to say "hi." I'm a "wannabe" steel player who has already siphoned a lot of great information from the forum. I'm still looking for the right PSG and I've certainly been tempted by a few for sale here.
Brief bio: Music major (voice), retired cop after 28 years (how did that happen?), guitar player from age 13 through college. Over the next 25 years, I probably only played a couple times a year. I've been back playing, mostly acoustic, for the past 2-3 years.
Steel will definitely be a challenge, but I think I'll enjoy it. My theory knowledge is pretty good -- the trick is going to be making my hands and feet put it to work.
Thanks to b0b and all for a great forum.

Tom,
If you can survive 28 years as a cop in Joizee, steel is going to be a snap for you.
