The E9 could be a Telonics. Their model 178 looks just like that one. The C6 could be anything. What kind of guitar? _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . The C6 might just be the original Emmons pickup.
710s are my favorite pickup. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 55 years and still counting. |

I find that when you have a certain pickup, you will dial in the sound on the amp closest to what you want to hear. If you change the pickup, you're going to twist the dials on the amp again and end up with pretty much the same sound as before. All differences will be pretty subtle. _________________ ----------------------------------

I've used both pu's. E9th pu is known as a "Sidewinder" and sometimes has much higher ohms. Last two I had were 28 and 36 ohms. Called BL-610, I believe. C6th pu looks like a BL-910 to me. Good pu but didn't have the high end or punch for my taste. |
