I stumbled across this card while looking for something else - a couple of my musical buddies from Winnipeg went to Nashville in the late 1970s, around the time I started playing pedal steel (forumite Andy Roblin and Robert Zap Zaporzan) and one or the other or both (it was a long time ago) kindly signed me up in the Nashville Steel Guitar Club and brought me back this card.
I like it that my membership number is in the 70,000s, you don't want to run out of numbers with a club that popular. Any other members here?

I dunno...but I have a hard time believing that that number means what some people might think it means. I guess you could say I'm a born skeptic. I'd be more likely to believe it signified something like "Member #524, and the club started in 1971. |

I don't see any date or expiration, so it looks like you are STILL a member in good standing! _________________ Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun. |

I think that may be right. Also, the last name on the signature for the sec-treasurer looks like "Jackson".
Is that a baby blue vinyl top Cougar in that picture? I had a red one at the time, with a lot more rust on it. Burned almost as much oil as gas. |

No, it's a Mustang, and financially speaking you wish you had it sitting in your garage about now. _________________ Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun. |
