Its got a bit of age on it but it still works perfectly. The best feature is it uses AA batteries. I use the rechargeable ones and always keep a few on standby.
IF the new Peterson tuner had this feature I would buy one.
Not a fan of charging odd ball internal batteries. |

Greg the StroboPlus HD has the same type of lithium battery as a cellphone, and hence you just charge it with a USB cable ! so much easier than changing or using rechargeable batteries, you could even charge it in your car on the way to a gig. You can also use the USB port to update software and sweeteners etc so it is much more flexible and future proof than the old Flip tuner. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

thanks for the input. Years ago I bought a Sharp portable mini disk recorder. It had an internal battery that worked fine for a year or two then went bad. It would have been a major job to replace the odd ball internal battery not to mention the exorbitant cost of the battery . Lesson learned.
As far as rechargeable batteries I always keep a couple charged. I just pop the battery lid and put the new ones in. Absolutely no problem. |
