Has anyone tried the TC Electronics BH250 bass amp head for pedal steel? Lots of power and includes an aux. input for tracks. |

I had one a couple of years ago, and didn't care much for it. I am a fan of class D amps, but this one just didn't cut it for me. I get a much better sound from Acoustic Image, GK MB250's or 500's, and I now have a Trace Elliot Elf amp that I'm liking a lot. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

Thanks for the reply Darvin. I have used an MB200 for years but a few months ago I bought DV Mark 50 11 and I like the tone better than the MB200. The DV is a loud 60 watts into a 4 ohm Eminence EPS speaker, and while it probably doesn't have as much power as the MB 200, it has plenty of power for my needs. [Playing mostly at home and occasionally at Church.] I'd like to check out the Trace Elliot Elf sometime. |

Hi George,
Yes I own and have used the TC Electronic BH250 for steel. I found it to be a great amp with lots of power and good tone. I have just recently purchased a "Peavey Nashville 112" which gives me more options. _________________ Sho~Bud SD10 LDG, Show-Pro SD10 LDG, Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100 MK11, Telonic's F100 Multi-Taper Super Pro V/P, Wayne Brown “Custom Designed Amp” |
