This is a guitar I just built.
This double neck is a used G&L semi acoustic Tele style on top, the bottom is a Melobar 8-string, 22 7/8ths scale with a new L705 Bill Lawrence steel guitar pickup. Both bridges are brass with chrome plates. This guitar (see video please) started out five months ago to be one of the best to be built this year, however the painter did not do a good job, there are little waves and flaws we tried to get in the photos.Still a beautiful deep iridescent blue with top components and a great tone, but it's going to have to be sold AS IS with NO RETURNS. Please do not buy it unless you completely understand and accept that. It's being sold below our cost to build it so there is no room for warranties whatsoever on it. Essentially you are paying what we paid for the upper guitar, the components and getting the Rosac Melobar neck free. The semi acoustic made it the lightest Telobar we've built. The back of the body is the rough anti-slip we put on Melobars to keep them from sliding around when playing on stage. Has the bar pocket behind the neck and features talked about on other Telobar youtube videos. Often asked about cases - keyboard gig bags and cases work perfectly.More photos available directly through my melobarted@gmail, Please ask all the questions you need to so you are comfortable with the purchase. Thank you.
