And let us not forget in the early days Forrest Culpepper (R.I.P.) played with Moe for a good while.

I don't recall a steel player named Robert, but maybe. I sort of lost track after I left in 1989 and Moe relocated to Branson.

Phil Koontz (R.I.P.) played with Moe for a good while in Branson. I also saw Steve Matlock playing with Moe in Texas a few years ago.

I believe he used Weldon Myrick on some of the records. Not sure about who travelled with him.

If all his players were as good as the two Tommy's
he had excellent choice of steelers. JMHO

Man, I love the steel on those old Moe Bandy records! I'm sure most all of it was Weldon. On most songs, I honestly can't tell which neck he's playing. It doesn't have that signature E9 or C6 sound--it just sounds like MOE BANDY.
