Hello, I am having a problem with my Hilton Legend-Pro delay. I play with a pretty clean tone, but when I switch the Delay on, the tone gets really dark. I just received the Legend-Pro, so I don't know alot about them. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also, the delay is between the guitar and the volume pedal, using George L cables. Thanks guys! |

Try backing off of the mix control so you can barely hear the repeat if all you want to do is to "fatten" the sound a tad.
You'll have to let us know exactly what your goal is by using delay. It's easy to go crazy with it. _________________ Howard Parker

Thanks for the reply. That's all I want to do is "fatten" the sound a little, for nice slow tunes. I only let it repeat once. Anymore and the notes get jumbled. |

That's to be expected. I usually set my delay for a single, very fast repeat where the repeat is very faint.
Sounds like your delay is very typical.

Try moving it after the volume pedal, or in an FX loop if your amp has one. |

Gary, I did as you suggested, after the volume pedal, and it worked beautifully. Amazing how it changed everything. Thanks so much for your input! |
